McLaren needs more than just Honda power boost – Button
+ Jenson Button says the promise of more power from Honda is no guarantee McLaren’s performance will improve in Bahrain. Button came home 14th in China after a late collision with Lotus’ Pastor Maldonado, after spending most of the race battling outside the points at the tail end of the field. While Button was pleased to complete the race – ensuring McLaren’s first two-car finish of 2015 – he admits the Honda power unit is not the only factor currently holding back the team. “It is good, but we still need to improve in many different areas,” he told reporters in Bahrain. “I think we are still very low on downforce. “The efficiency of the car and the driveability is...
