Palmer enjoys Lotus practice debut
otus reserve Jolyon Palmer was pleased with his performance as he made his Formula 1 practice debut at the Chinese Grand Prix.Having sampled the E23 during pre-season testing, Palmer drove the car at a race weekend for the first time at Shanghai on Friday morning.Despite an early spin at Turn 8, he completed 25 laps en route to 15th, four places and six tenths down on regular driver Pastor Maldonado."I've been waiting to get my hands on the E23 during a Grand Prix weekend and the experience didn't disappoint," said the GP2 champion, who will also compete in the first practice session in Bahrain next week."The track was quite green which provided its own set of slippery...
