Man arrested after crossing Shanghai pit straight

A man who crossed the Shanghai pit straight during second practice for the Chinese Grand Prix has been taken into custody by police. The man climbed over the wall at the front of the main grandstand, dropped down to ground level, and then got over the debris fence. He crossed the track between two cars, and scaled the pit wall. He then headed into the Ferrari garage where he was apprehended by security guards and then handed over the authorities. He reportedly said that he wanted to drive one of the cars. Subsequently security measures were ramped up with more guards appearing at the front of the grandstand.
