Button: McLaren can make some improvements in qualifying

Images © McLaren McLaren-Honda showed a prominent step forward in form during Friday practice for the Chinese Grand Prix. Jenson Button cracking the top ten in second practice within two seconds of pace-setter Hamilton’s time and team-mate Fernando Alonso just behind him in 12th place. The Brit says McLaren can make some improvements in qualifying. The duo is trying to catch-up to the midfield pack following a difficult start to the season. “We look reasonably good out there, but that can perhaps be explained by the fact that we seem to have been able to extract the maximum out of our car today, whereas perhaps some of the other teams haven’t.
