Man arrested after running on to track during practice

A local man has been arrested after he ran across the track during today's second practice session in Shanghai. The man, who has not yet been named, is understood to have had a ticket for the main grandstand, but crossed the track because he wanted to drive a car. Having climbed the safety fencing that lines the track he was somehow able to run across the track on the main pit straight, timing his run just after a Sauber had passed and before a Force India reached him. Once across the track he climbed through a gap in the pit wall where it is understood he tried to enter the Ferrari garage.
