Red Bull duo pleased with Chinese GP upgrades
Daniel Ricciardo was set a surprise third fastest in his Red Bull, the Australian speedy jump up the order late in the session following spending the opening 45 minutes as the team struggled to cool their brakes. “We had a good Friday, we got all the running we could from the sessions and our pace looks good. We had a few aero updates and drivability is always getting better, we definitely have had an improvement and that’s all we can ask for.” Ricciardo said. “We obviously have a few more steps to take but we’re making them in the right direction, so that’s positive.” He added Daniil Kvyat ended the day sixth fastest but it was a far from flat session for the Russian.
