Piquet dominates Long Beach ePrix

China Racing's Nelson Piquet Jr. took a controlled victory in Long Beach ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne and Lucas di Grassi. Piquet took victory after a decisive lap one overtake handed him the lead of the race. From there, he controlled the race lead masterfuly. Andretti's Jean-Eric Vergne claimed his first podium finish in Formula E after making significant progress during the pit-stops, finishing ahead of Lucas di Grassi, who now retakes the lead in the Driver's Championship. Sebastien Buemi recovered well to take fourth place after being demoted to 10th due to a qualifying penalty and finished ahead of Mahindra's Bruno Senna and Jerome D'Ambrosio (Dragon Racing).
