Grosjean handed two-place grid penalty

Romain Grosjean has been handed a two-place grid penalty for the Malaysian Grand Prix on Sunday, pushing him down to tenth on the grid. The Lotus driver had qualified 8th, but he was seen jumping ahead of rival drivers waiting at the end of the pit lane at the start of Q2. The stewards therefore penalised him under Article 23.6 of the sporting regulations which stipulate that queue jumping isn't allowed during qualifying. "The driver failed to leave the pit lane in the order of his arrival and therefore has breached Article 23.6," read a steward's report.
