Williams announce Sutil as official Reserve Driver for 2015
Williams Martini Racing has announced that Adrian Sutil will be their official Reserve Driver for the 2015 Formula 1 season. The German, a veteran of 128 Grand Prix for Spyker, Force India and Sauber, will be the official understudy to both Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa this season. Sutil, who was released by the Sauber F1 Team at the end of 2014 after failing to score a point, will spend time in the Williams team’s race simulator to prepare himself to race should either race driver be unable to participate in any event this season. “I’m very proud to be a part of such a famous and great F1 team,” revealed Sutil. “To work for Sir Frank Williams and his team means a lot to me....
