Rosberg ran up 2,170 steps in an impressive 19 minutes, before revelling in the breathtaking night views from the summit. The towers were the tallest buildings in the world between 1998 and 2004. On reaching the summit the German, who finished runner-up to Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton in last season's world championship and the 2015 Australian Grand Prix, posted a brief video message to his followers.
