Alonso given permission to travel to Malaysia

Fernando Alonso has been granted permission to travel to Malaysia for the Grand Prix next Sunday after passing medical tests in England. Alonso has been spending the last month recuperating at home and with family & friends after a heavy testing shunt at the penultimate Barcelona test. After suffering concussion and being knocked unconscious from the crash, Alonso was hospitalised for three days for observation before being released for recovery. As a result of the crash, Alonso sat out the Australian Grand Prix, due to medical advice concerned about what a secondary impact may do to Fernando.
