Alonso set for medical tests ahead of Malaysia
Getty Images Enlarge Fernando Alonso needs to pass a series of medical tests before being declared fit to race at the Malaysian Grand Prix next weekend, according to a report in The Guardian. Alonso missed the first race of the season in Australia following his unusual accident in testing, which left him concussed and unconscious. He has since passed several medical tests in his native Spain, but those results are set to be analysed by three FIA-appointed doctors at Cambridge University on Sunday, who will also conduct further tests. If he passes Sunday's test he will travel back to his home in Dubai before continuing to Malaysia where a further two tests will be conducted on the Thursday...
