Miami ePrix: Prost’s late charge secures victory

In the first of a two-race stint in the States, Miami was the venue for round five of the debut Formula E Championship. Located in downtown Miami and situated around the stadium of basketball team Miami Heat, Formula E had arrived at one of it’s most glamourous locations on the calendar so far. It also featured one of the shortest, simplest circuit layouts on the schedule. Despite having just eight corners organised into a 2.17km configuration, the two long straights looked to encourage overtaking on the bumpy, narrow circuit.
