Alonso to get simulator run ahead of Malaysian GP

Fernando Alonso will begin his preparations for a return to action in the Malaysian Grand Prix with a simulator run at McLaren headquarters. The two-time world champion was forced to miss the opening round of the 2015 Formula 1 season after he was knocked unconscious in an accident during pre-season testing, but has been focusing his preparations on returning for the second round in Sepang. Part of this will involve checking for any lasting effects at the wheel of the simulator at McLaren's Technology Centre, before heading out to Malaysia, where he will also need the FIA to give him the all-clear.
