Abt: 'Finally we made it!'

Daniel Abt was relieved to achieve his first Formula E podium finish after a difficult first few races of the season. Abt was a front-runner throughout the race and was consistently ahead of championship-leading team-mate Lucas di Grassi, but made significant progress during the pit stop phase, resulting in the 22-year-old leading the race. He held onto the lead for numerous laps until Nicolas Prost was finally able to overtake in the closing moments of the race. Abt was subsequently passed by Scott Speed, but he was nonetheless very happy to achieve his first podium of the season. 'There's so many emotions.
