Perez supports van der Garde in Sauber feud

Sergio Perez says Giedo van der Garde is correct in challenging Sauber for reneging on a contract to offer him a 2015 F1 seat, saying drivers should 'stand up for their rights'. Sauber and former reserve driver van der Garde are currently embroiled in a bitter contractual dispute after the Dutchman claimed he agreed terms to acquire a race drive for 2015, only for the team to sign Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr. Though van der Garde won his case in the Melbourne Supreme Court on Wednesday, Sauber promptly launched an appeal that is currently being heard. Should the ruling be upheld, Sauber could be forced to allow van der Garde to race in the Australian Grand Prix, which gets underway...
