Manor Marussia passes FIA crash tests

The Manor Marussia team looks set to compete in the Australian Grand Prix after passing all the mandatory crash tests. The team had confirmed its intention to be on the grid in Melbourne with its 2014 cars powered by Ferrari engines, but its chassis was yet to pass the FIA crash tests. On Thursday the team confirmed it is now set to fly to Australia. "Our big news of today is that we have now passed the FIA crash tests," said the team on Twitter. "Well done team! That's it - we're all set for Melbourne! Manor is yet to confirm who will drive alongside Will Stevens this year.
