Pirelli announce tyre compounds for opening Formula 1 races
Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has announced its compound choices for the first four races of the 2015 season. The Australian Grand Prix, 2015's curtain raiser, will run P Zero soft and medium compounds, with the usual regulations in place for any adverse weather condition. Pirelli has selected medium and hard tyre compounds for the second round in Malyasia before returning to softs and mediums for China and Bahrain. The tyre choices are a copy on 2014's selection for the opening four rounds which saw Mercedes completely dominate, winning all four races. Tyre selections by Pirelli for the rest of the season will be announced over the course of the season.
