Hamilton plays down technical issue
– Lewis Hamilton says he is 'ready' for the Australian Grand Prix and played down a problem which stranded his Mercedes W06 Hybrid on the first day of the final pre-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.Hamilton posted a time of 1:24.861 on the Medium tyres to top the morning session but he did not reappear after lunch as his Mercedes suffered from an MGU-K problem.Hamilton's time was nonetheless sufficient for the World Champion to end the day in third position."Of course, we would have liked to have a few more laps today - especially as the sun came out later on," he said."But sometimes you have those days.
