McLaren pins Alonso crash on windy conditions

Pirelli Media McLaren says that they believe Fernando Alonso's crash during pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was caused by the windy conditions affecting the track on Sunday. Alonso crashed at Turn 3 shortly before the lunch break and was airlifted to hospital after being taken by ambulance to the circuit's Medical Centre. McLaren confirmed that Alonso had suffered a concussion but is in good spirits in hospital.
