Rosberg plays down lap times on medium tyre
Nico Rosberg has played down his and Mercedes' lap times on the medium tyre after getting to within three tenths of Romain Grosjean's test-topping fastest time on super-soft rubber. Considered to be the first indication of Mercedes' true pace having concentrated its efforts on longer runs and reliability with the W06, Rosberg's ascension up the timesheets in the afternoon on the medium compound tyres proved particularly eye-catching.
