Grosjean ends first Barcelona test fastest for Lotus

+ Romain Grosjean was fastest for Lotus on a dramatic fourth and final day of testing in Barcelona. Grosjean set the pace with a lap of 1:24.067 – the best time of the week – set on the soft tyre, to ensure Lotus topped three of the four days of running in Barcelona. However, the Frenchman’s time was overshadowed by an accident for Fernando Alonso, on what was a day interrupted by red flags. The McLaren racer crashed at Turn 3 just before the lunch break, and needed to be airlifted to hospital for further checks, before being declared uninjured late in the afternoon.
