Hamilton happy to be back in action, despite illness

Reigning world champion returns to the cockpit, as his teammate cries off sick this time. Lewis Hamilton was surprised but happy to jump back into the cockpit of the new Mercedes W06 at Barcelona today, only 24 hours after he was forced out of it and into his sickbed with a fever. A croaky-sounding Hamilton completed 89 laps to go fifth fastest on day two at Barcelona, which marks the halfway point of pre-season F1 testing. He replaced Nico Rosberg at lunchtime, who suffered a neck problem. "I've had better days. That's why I'm wearing the [sun]glasses – it looks like I've had a few late nights!" he quipped.
