Hamilton sick on day one of Barcelona F1 test
Mercedes recalled German reserve Pascal Wehrlein from Force India testing duties, on the opening day of Formula 1 testing in Barcelona, after double Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton was taken ill. Hamilton completed 11 laps on the first day of the second pre-season test in Barcelona before the team said he was too unwell to continue. Wehrlein, 20, was already on track at the Circuit de Catalunya as part of a deal to test for Mercedes-powered Force India, who are running their 2014 car because the new one is not yet finished. 'An unplanned stoppage keeping us off track at the moment. Lewis Hamilton is unwell and not able to continue driving today,' Mercedes said on their Twitter...
