Hamilton lauds special reliability as Mercedes goes distance
Lewis Hamilton has revealed that the entire Mercedes team has been impressed with the instant reliability of its new W06 Hybrid after racking up another 100-lap day at the Jerez test. The Briton completed a session-high 115 laps on his way to third spot on the Wednesday timesheets and, having already revealed that Mercedes is not chasing times in southern Spain, paid tribute to the early potential of the car. With Nico Rosberg twice topping 150 laps, on days one and three, and Hamilton's final day tally adding to the 91 he completed on Monday, the W06 clocked up 515 in total, the 2280 kilometres travels being the equivalent of nearly eight full grands prix. “We generally got decent...
