Rosberg fastest on first morning of F1 testing in Jerez

Sutton Images Enlarge Nico Rosberg and Mercedes hit the ground running in pre-season testing as they led the field in time and mileage on the morning of the opening F1 test of 2015 in Jerez. Rosberg completed 61 laps by 13:00 before another long run just after, more than double his nearest rival, and topped the timesheets with a 1:23.106 set early in the morning before he started his longer runs. It was an impressive and strong start for Mercedes after they finished the 2014 season comfortably at the top of the pile.
