Toro Rosso confirms Jerez test line-up

– Toro Rosso has become the first Formula 1 team to confirm its driver schedule for the opening pre-season test, which takes place at Jerez from February 1-4.A spokesperson for the outfit told GPUpdate.net that Carlos Sainz Jr. will complete the first and third days of the test, with Max Verstappen driving in between.On Monday, Toro Rosso announced that the STR10, its challenger for the 2015 campaign, has passed all of the FIA's mandatory crash tests.Sainz Jr. steps up to Formula 1 after winning the Formula Renault 3.5 title, while Verstappen finished third in his sole European Formula 3 season.
