Championship position: 1st out of 23 Probably Lewis Hamilton's most complete year saw him take his second drivers' championship despite a difficult relationship with team-mate Nico Rosberg, but he wasn't quite faultless. The title looked almost a formality after he bounced back from retirement in Australia with four straight wins, including a brilliantly defensive drive to hold off Rosberg in Bahrain. However, Rosberg's qualifying error in Monaco got to Hamilton, and mistakes started to creep in....
