Tost: 'Difficult' decision to drop Vergne
– Toro Rosso Team Principal Franz Tost says that dropping Jean-Éric Vergne for 2015 in favour of Carlos Sainz was a 'difficult decision'.Vergne, who will make his Formula E debut in Uruguay later on Saturday, raced for Toro Rosso for three years and placed 13th in the Drivers' Championship in 2014, with a best finish of sixth in Singapore.But despite outscoring team-mate Daniil Kvyat by 22 points to eight, the Russian was promoted to Red Bull while Vergne's seat was handed to Sainz for 2015, a decision which Tost says was not easy."With Jean-Eric, it was a difficult decision to let him go because there's no doubt he is a very talented driver, but our team's remit is to bring on...
