Alonso's McLaren reunion won't be like last time - Hamilton

Fernando Alonso won't endure the same troubles he experienced at McLaren in 2007 when he partnered Lewis Hamilton, when he returns to the outfit next season. That's the view of Hamilton, who reckons both Alonso and McLaren have changed since the troubled season which saw the Spaniard terminate his contract early despite coming to within one point of the title. "It is an interesting decision with the team, but I wish him all the best," said Hamilton, who was asked for his opinion on the pairing during a Merceds 'Stars and Cars' event at the weekend.
