Boullier explains McLaren-Honda absence

McLaren racing director Eric Boullier says the team's delayed start to the Abu Dhabi F1 test is a result of some checks with electrical issues. The interim MP4-29H/1X1 was due to run in Abu Dhab on Tuesday and Wednesday, but did not appear on track during the first four hours of testing. Boullier explained that the team was being cautious with and potential problems it could have with the power unit and will not rush to get the car out on track. “We are triple-checking some electrical issues we may have with the ground, particularly, which is a part we have built as McLaren and we just want to be very careful,” Boullier said. “The minimum is you may burn the harness but you could...
