F1: Vettel joins Ferrari on three-year deal

Ferrari has announced Sebastian Vettel will join the team on a three-year deal in 2015, replacing Fernando Alonso. Within moments of Alonso's departure being announced, Ferrari confirmed that his replacement would be Vettel, who joins the team having already achieved four consecutive drivers' championships with Red Bull. Vettel, who described the move as a dream come true, will partner Kimi Raikkonen next season and Ferrari team principal Marco Mattiacci said he sees Vettel as the driver to return the team to the front of the grid. “Scuderia Ferrari has decided to put its faith in the youngest multiple champion in the history of Formula 1," Mattiacci said. “In Formula 1 terms,...
