Schumacher's family 'remain confident' about future
Michael Schumacher's family say they 'remain confident' about the seven-time F1 champion's future. Schumacher suffered severe head injuries in a skiing accident in the French Alps last December. After spending six months at the Grenoble Hospital, it was announced in June that he was no longer in a coma and had moved to a rehabilitation centre in Switzerland.
The last update from his manager Sabine Kehm was released in September, which confirmed that he was making progress and had returned home.
The German's website was re-launched yesterday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his maiden F1 title. A message from Schumacher's family thanked fans for their support.
