Lotus new nose performed as expected

– Lotus Technical Director Nick Chester says the new nose trialled by the team in Austin last weekend performed "as expected".Romain Grosjean ran with the 2015 specification nose during opening practice for the United States Grand Prix and the Enstone outfit was pleased with the results."The performance was pretty much as we expected it to be," Chester confirmed."We thought it would be a little bit down on the current ['twin tusk'] nose which it was but all the measurements gathered were really useful for helping us with the development noses for the E23 [our 2015 car]."They will be along the lines of what we tested in Austin but still they will be...
