Vettel shifts focus to race simulation

Red Bull/Getty Images Sebastian Vettel says he is focusing on race simulations after it was confirmed that he will start from the pit lane at the United States Grand Prix. Vettel, who won the race in 2013, will take a sixth Power Unit and as a result he must start from the pits. Consequently, the outgoing world champion spent Friday practice focusing on high-fuel runs and rounded out the runners in 18th position. "It was a different practice today, as we focused on Sunday preparation," he said. "We had an issue with the gearbox this morning so we lost some time, but overall it was okay.
