Perez 'very close' to new Force India deal

Sergio Perez says he is very close to signing a new deal with the Force India team for the 2015 season. The Mexican's future in Formula 1 looked in doubt 12 months ago, after he was dropped by the McLaren outfit in favour of Kevin Magnussen. However, he secured a drive at Force India and has enjoyed a positive 2014 season, scoring one podium finish and 10 further points finishes. 'It’s getting very close,' he said when asked in today's FIA press conference if the deal is almost done.
