Austin weekend kicks off in style at COTA Forum
The United States Grand Prix weekend got off to a great start yesterday as the COTA Forum brought Formula 1 closer to the fans in Austin, Texas.
Following the collapse of FOTA earlier this year, the forums that had proven to be so successful and popular throughout the organisation's existence also went down the pan, appearing to leave the fans short changed for the 2014 season.
However, in association with the Grand Prix Investors Fund, former FOTA general secretary Oliver Weingarten managed to organise a special ‘COTA Forum' for this weekend's race in Austin, taking place at Gibson Guitar Texas last night.
