Silverstone senior executives suspended

Sutton Images Enlarge Three of Silverstone's senior executives have been suspended at the same time as the British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) takes a closer role in the running of the circuit. The BRDC stresses that the suspension of the senior executives, including managing director Richard Phillips, is coincidental to the restructure of the running of the circuit. The news follows failed attempts to sell Silverstone Circuit Ltd (SLC), which is owned by the BRDC, as the club attempts to secure the long-term future of the home of the British Grand Prix.
