Prost ‘furious' over Bianchi accident
+ Four-time Formula 1 world champion Alain Prost says the circumstances surrounding Jules Bianchi’s accident at the Japanese Grand Prix has left him felling ‘furious’.
Bianchi remains in hospital after he suffered severe head injuries in a collision with a recovery vehicle which was clearing the damaged Sauber of Adrian Sutil under the cover of double waved yellow flags.
According to Prost, the decision not to deploy the safety car to cover the accident as the weathered worsened was a mistake on the part of the FIA.
“I don't want to make any polemics with the FIA, because I have a lot of respect for what has been done in terms of safety over the past 20 years,” Prost told...
