Ericsson hails 'continuous' Caterham gains

– Marcus Ericsson says Caterham is making "continuous" progress as the 2014 season wears on.Having missed out on Q2 by just a tenth of a second, the Swedish rookie took the fight to Sauber's Adrian Sutil and Lotus driver Pastor Maldonado in Sunday afternoon's inaugural Russian Grand Prix at Sochi Autodrom.Ericsson succeeded in keeping the pair at bay throughout the opening stint of the race, but struggled for grip when he switched from the Option to Prime rubber, leading to a second stop and dropping him to 19th position.Nonetheless, he was encouraged with the outfit's ability to mix it with the established midfield runners."It's been another strong weekend, we're...
