Lowdon thanks F1 community for outpouring of Bianchi support
+ Marussia president and sporting director Graeme Lowdon has thanked the Formula 1 community for its outpouring of support in the wake of Jules Bianchi’s accident.
Bianchi remains in hospital in Japan after suffering severe head injuries in a collision with a recovery vehicle during last Sunday’s race at Suzuka.
Marussia confirmed on Friday morning that it will run with just a single car at this weekend’s inaugural Russian Grand Prix, in a sign of respect to Bianchi.
Lowdon, speaking to the media during Friday’s FIA press conference, shared his gratitude to the entire F1 community for its support on what has been a gruelling week for the Marussia team.
