Bianchi suffers ‘severe head injury' in Japanese GP accident

+ The FIA has confirmed that Jules Bianchi has suffered a severe head injury following his accident during the Japanese Grand Prix. The Frenchman went off at Turn 7 late in the race, colliding with the recovery vehicle that was on the scene to clear Adrian Sutil’s car, which had crashed a lap before. The race was red flagged followed the accident and Bianchi was moved to the Mie General hospital via road ambulance in light of his condition – he was unconscious throughout. Bianchi is currently undergoing surgery, with his condition deemed as critical, and he will be later moved to intensive care for monitoring.
