Toro Rosso confirms Verstappen practice debut in Japan

2015 Toro Rosso driver Max Verstappen will make his F1 race weekend debut at the Suzuka circuit in first practice for the Japanese Grand Prix, the team has confirmed. The Dutchman, who turns 17 tomorrow, will become the youngest ever Formula 1 driver when he competes in his first race next March in Australia. Verstappen was granted the required super license by the FIA following a test in a 2012 Toro Rosso at the Adria International Raceway in Italy earlier this month. He has already completed a day in the simulator in preparation for Japan.
