Mercedes: Faulty loom to blame for Rosberg's retirement

+ Mercedes says a faulty wiring loom is to blame for the electrical issues that forced Nico Rosberg to retire from the Singapore Grand Prix. Rosberg had to start the race from the pitlane after he was left on the grid on the formation lap. The German, stuck in energy harvesting mode and mired down at the back of the field, pitted to swap his steering wheel in an attempt to fix his electrical problem, but found himself unable to select gear following the change, leading to his retirement.
