Fernando Alonso tops in FP3
Twice a winner at the venue, Fernando Alonso continued to show a hot streak around the Marina Bay Circuit in his Ferrari as he topped the timing sheets at the end of the third and final free practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, ahead of Daniel Ricciardo in the Red Bull.
Nico Rosberg was best of the Mercedes brigade in third while teammate and title rival Lewis Hamilton, who survived a spin during the action packed hour session, was sixth – clearly the Silver Arrows camp keeping their powder dry for qualifying, which is extra important on the city street based circuit.
