Button: Updates can help beat Williams

Jenson Button believes McLaren could have the beating of Williams at the Singapore Grand Prix as the result of a large package of upgrades. Williams capitalised on the Monza circuit suiting its car by securing third and fourth places in the Italian Grand Prix, while McLaren was left fighting with the likes of Ferrari and Red Bull. Having been similarly competitive in Belgium, Button said a big upgrade should help the team at least maintain its position fighting nearer the front. “We have had updates at every race – which is nice to see – but here it's bigger than normal,” Button said. “I think we need it really because high-downforce circuits have really been our weakness, but...
