Team radio ban: What's allowed and what isn't

The FIA has issued a technical directive clarifying the kind of messages that will be permitted to be exchanged between the driver and the pit wall over a Grand Prix weekend following its clampdown on radio communications. The sport’s governing body reminded in a ruling last week that the drivers need to drive the cars unaided and should not be fed with information that boosts performances when out on the track. It has now issued a further clarification stating what will be allowed and what will be deemed as information that will enhance the driver’s advantage.
