Max racks up Super License kilometers

Max Verstappen has amassed the kilometers needed to secure a Super Licence have put in the laps at the Adria International Raceway in Italy. The Toro Rosso youngster, who will race alongside Daniil Kvyat next season, was in action at the Italian track on Wednesday. It was a trouble-free day for Verstappen, who was behind the wheel of a 2012 STR7, and he got to try both the intermediate tyres and the slicks as his day began on a damp track. In his first proper test, the 16-year-old Dutchman covered 148 laps of the 2.702 kilometre long track and has therefore done enough to secure his Super Licence.
