Button revels in ‘amazing’ Perez battle
Jenson Button described his battle with Sergio Perez in the Italian Grand Prix as “amazing” and “superb”. Perez was defending from Button for a number of laps, with Button twice finding a way through but Perez then immediately regaining the position. While Button was disappointed to finish eighth – lower than his grid slot – he was enthralled with the racing itself and believes it will have been well received by the fans. “This wasn't the result I was after – but it was good fun nonetheless,” Button said. “It's just a pity that we didn't quite have the race pace we'd hoped for: when you start fifth and sixth, you're not just looking for a points finish, you want a bit...
