Montezemolo stays at Ferrari

Fernando Alonso has welcomed the news that Luca Di Montezemolo, Ferrari's long-time president, has reaffirmed his commitment to the Scuderia.Speculation has swirled around the Monza paddock this weekend that Di Montezemolo, in charge at Maranello for the last 23 years, was preparing to step down.But in an address to a tightly-assembled media scum congregated outside of the Ferrari motorhome at the start of qualifying for the Italian GP,  Di Montezemolo insisted he would be staying on."I said in March, to my shareholders and particularly to my people in Ferrari, I was ready to accept three more years,' declared the Italian.
